Acting Managing Director
Mr Nitschke is a mining engineer with over 35 years' experience in the mining industry including operating at executive levels in large resource companies. Recent roles include Executive General Manager (EGM) Projects and Technical Services for OZ Minerals Limited, EGM Australian Operations for Oxiana Limited, EGM Development for Newmont Australia and EGM Western Australia for Normandy Group. Significant projects managed by Mr Nitschke include the development of the Prominent Hill Copper Gold Project, the Golden Grove Underground Zinc Operation and the Sepon Copper Expansion Project.
Non Executive Director
Mr Sun is General Manager of TFA International Pty Ltd., an Australian subsidiary of Taifeng Yuanchang International Development Co Ltd (‘Taifeng’) which holds a 49% interest in IMX's Cairn Hill mining operation in South Australia. Mr Sun holds non-executive directorships with Pepinnini Minerals Limited and Ferrowest Resources Limited, both of which are listed on the ASX and has significant experience in resources investment and mineral projects analysis. He holds a Master of E-commerce, a Master of Economics in Industrial Enterprise Management and a Diploma in Industrial Enterprise Management.
Ms Benda is credentialed and highly experienced across business, law and finance. She has worked for top International legal and professional services firms in senior positions including Mallesons King & Wood and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She practices as an Investment Banker with global US and French banks advising ASX200-300 companies across equity capital markets and mergers and acquisitions, specialising in the mining and resources sector. Ms Benda has also served as an Executive General Manager across operations, finance and corporate services. Ms Benda has been as Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance for a stockbroker. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Applied Finance and is a graduate of Havard Business School AMP.
Ms Benda is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a board member (WA) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Managment. Ms Benda is also currently on the boards of the Australia Youth Orchestra and chairs charity, Ready to Work Inc.
Mr Constable is a Canadian-based exploration geologist and investor relations specialist with over 40 years’ experience as a director and senior executive with Canadian-listed mining companies, specialising in mineral exploration, marketing and communication. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) degree, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr. Constable has a track record of success in helping grow small exploration and mining companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) into successful major mining companies. He listed Normandy Mining on the TSX in 1997 and served as Vice President Investor Relations for the Americas until Normandy’s acquisition by Newmont Mining in 2002. From 2002-10, Mr. Constable was Vice President Investor Relations for FNX Mining Company listed on the TSX. Currently Mr Constable serves as a non executive director of Sandspring (TSXV: SSP), U3O8 (TSXV: UWE), Woulfe Mining (TSXV: WOF) and Tiger Springs (ASX/TSX:TGS). He has previously served as a director of dual-listed entities Magma Metals (ASX/TSX: MMW) and Moly Mines Limited (ASX/TSX: MOL).
Stuart is a chartered secretary with over 25 years in senior commercial roles. He was previously Company Secretary with Anvil Mining Limited for almost six years, prior to which he held senior positions with Ok Tedi Mining Limited, Ernst and Young and HSBC.
Chief Financial Officer
Phil is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years experience in accounting and finance roles. He commenced his career at a large international accounting firm and has since gained corporate experience with both Australian and international listed companies.
General Manager Cairn Hill Project
Simon has 20 years practical mining experience in operations and project development across a range of commodities throughout Australia. He has been working on the Cairn Hill Project since August 2008 – taking the project from the final project approvals, contract tenders and finally project commencement. Prior to that he was Mining Manager for Mt Gibson Mining at Tallering Peak, and prior to that he worked for a number of companies including Onesteel (South Middleback Ranges), Newmont (Granites), Normandy, Henry Walker and Eltin.
General Manager, Exploration & Business Development Africa
Mike is a qualified exploration geophysicist and lawyer. His most recent roles have been Managing Director of exploration companies, TNT Mines Limited and Alchemy Resources Limited, where he successfully acquired and built strategic land positions in highly prospective mineral regions and oversaw early exploration drilling programs. Prior to these roles, Mike held senior management positions with North Limited and Oxiana Limited.
General Manager - ProjectsStewart is a process engineer with over twenty years experience in many facets of the mining industry including both operations and project development. Prior to joining IMX Resources he held various management positions with Continetal Nickel Limited and Sedgman Limited. Previous to this he was a part owner of Intermet Engineering Pty Ltd, an engineering consulting and contracting firm focused on the development of small to medium sized mineral processing projects globally, which was purchased by Sedgman in 2007. His experience includes multiple projects in Southern and Eastern Africa including Kasese Cobalt in Uganda, Dikulushi Copper and Kinsevere Copper in the DRC and Bwana Mkubwa Copper in Zambia, as well as projects in Asia, Australia and South America.
Mr Watkins holds a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University of Technology (1991) and is a Fellow of the AusIMM.
Country Manager - TanzaniaKavishe was born and raised in Tanzania and has lived, studied and worked in various countries including Bulgaria, UK, Japan, Canada and the United States.Prior to joining IMX Resources in 2013 he held various influential leadership positions within Tanzanian government agencies, including the National Development Corporation (NDC) and the Parastatal Sector Reform Commission (PSRC). In 2006 Kavishe established a private technology business, Kicheko Ltd and is regularly invited as a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship at various Tanzanian universities and centres of higher learning.He holds degrees in Engineering and Business Administration and post-graduate qualifications in business administration, project management, privatization and utility regulation.
