Uranex Limited (UNX) is an Australian-listed exploration company based in Melbourne, with a portfolio of uranium and base metals exploration projects in Australia and Africa.

IMX owns 25% of ordinary shares of Uranex, which is exploring and seeking to develop a number of uranium exploration projects in Tanzania and in Australia.

IMX and Uranex maintain a close relationship. Uranex Chairman Johann Jacobs is a former Chairman of IMX, and Uranex non executive director Stephen Hunt is a non executive director of IMX.
